![]() ![]() Unless your computer isn't booting up correctly, there is usually no need to "scrub," "clean," "optimize" or otherwise make changes to the system registry. ![]() ![]() As far as the system registry goes, that is actually a database that Windows reads and writes into, and it manages it pretty well without third-party tools. I just ran it on the computer I am on right now, and it found 1.71GB of unneeded files and removed it. If you are running a recent version of Windows, you could try running the Disk Cleanup (filename: CLEANMGR.EXE) as an Administrator, checking (selecting) the various boxes for the types of files you wish to remove for the system, and then allowing it to run.
